In 1993, he won the Best Director Award for directing Tanker Wars at the Fajr Film Festival.
Mohammad Bozorgnia studied at the School of Television and Cinema. After years of working in the field of television and documentary filmmaking, he began his cinematic activities as an assistant director on the movie ‘The Postman’ (1972), directed by Dariush Mehrjui.
Bozorgnia has directed and written various movies, including ‘The Ship Angelica’ (1989), ‘Storm’ (1996), ‘A Place to Live’ (2004) and ‘Maritime Silk Road’ (2010).
One of his achievements is receiving the Best Director award for his movie ‘The Tanker Wars’ (1993) at Iran’s Fajr International Film Festival. (ifilm)
