Ahmad Shirazi _{(1930 – early October 1988)}

Ahmad Shirazi (born 1930 – died early October 1988) was a veteran Iranian cinematographer, director, editor, and cinema and television producer.

Shirazi is known for movies such as Gerogan (1974), Kolbei aansoo-ye roodkhane (1971), Dozde bandar (1955) and Donya-ye poromid (1969).

He was born in Tehran in 1930, and died in 1988 in Spain.

His artistic career in cinema began in 1948 as a dubber. He established the Aria Studio in collaboration with Ataollah Zahedkhani and Jalal Maghaze and in dubbing the film Shahrzad's song he used magnetic recording for the first time.

He was active in the field of cinema since 1953 with the film Condemned Innocent by Ali Mahzoun made in collaboration with Boris Mataev at Shahrzad Studio.
