Abbas Raziji (April 9, 1984, Ahvaz, Iran)
Abbas Raziji (born April 9, 1984 in Ahvaz) is an Iranian director, producer, and writer.
He graduated with a diploma from Ahvaz High School of Visual Arts, graduated with a bachelor's degree in acting with honors from the Faculty of Arts of Arak Azad University in 2005.
In 2010, he graduated with a master's degree in directing with honors from the Faculty of Arts and Architecture of Tehran, and has been in theater since the age of sixteen, first as an actor, then as an assistant director, and now as a director.
His first feature film Cold Breath has successfully participated in more than 50 international festivals and has won many awards for Iranian cinema, including the Best Feature Film Award from the Ridgefield Independent Film Festival in the United States, the Special Jury Prize from the Mammoth Lake Film Festival in the United States, the Best Feature Film Award from the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival in India, the Best First Film Director Award from the Action On Film Festival in the United States, the Best Actress Award from the Salento International Film Festival in Italy.
He currently lives in UK, but for filmmaking, film training, writing articles about films and participation in international film festivals he travels to all countries of the world.
