Mohammad Taghi Kahnemoui (December 31, 1920 - May 3, 1984)
Mohammad Taghi Kahnemoui (December 31, 1920 - May 3, 1984) was born in Tehran, Iran. He was an Iranian theater and cinema actor.
Kahnemoui was a graduate of Tehran Academy of Arts. He started acting in the theater in 1943 with traveling theater groups and acting in the cinema in 1965 with Mootalaie shahre ma (Blonde of our City) and "Morad and Laleh", a film by Saber Rahbar.
He is known for movies such as Ghesseye Shab (The Night Story, 1973), Zani be name Sharab (1967), Soltan-e Ghalbha (King of the Hearts), Avarehaye Tehran (1968) and Be dadam beres Rafigh (1978).
Kahnemoui was one of the active actors in supporting roles, who started his collaboration with Abdol Hossein Noushin, Hossein Khairkhah, and Mostafa Eskoui. He played the role of "father" in most of his films.
His first appearance in the theater was in 1943 by writing, directing, and acting in the play Rostam and Sohrab, and after that he appeared in plays such as Khers, The Sixth Floor, Golden Carriage, Yousof and Zuleikha, Mr. Mirza's Wedding, The Trial, and Wedding Italian Style.
He has appeared in more than 100 movies as an actor.
