Mehdi Mirsamadzadeh (1939 - April 30, 2007)

Mehdi Mirsamadzadeh was born in 1939 in Tehran. He is a graduate of IDHEC, the French Film School.

His activity as a filmmaker started ever since his stay in France with short films as "holy youth" and "self-defense".

He returned to Iran in 1958 and was first active in Golestan Studios and later joined the Ministry of Culture and Art and made news and documentaries.

His professional work in theater began in 1960 with making the film "jungle adventure" (in collaboration with Ghasem Aghassi).

In the winter of 1962 he established the film company panorama with Iraj Ghaderi and Musa Afshar. Since 1980 he has been living in France.
