Amrollah Saberi (1941 - September 27, 2023)
Amrollah Saberi Shirvani (1941 – 27 September 2023) was an Iranian theater, television and cinema actor.
Saberi was born in the city of Tanekabon. He was known for Baluch (1972), Ghazal (1975), The Deer (1976), Train (1988), Yaran (1993), Hamoun (1990) and La Minor (2022).
He had a bachelor's degree in directing and acting from the State University of Hannover, Germany.
He started acting in the theater in 1968 and working with television since the same year. His cinematic career began in 1972 by acting with a short appearance in The Postman by Dariush Mehrjui.
He also has several works of translation in his artistic portfolio, including The Plebeians Rehearse the Uprising (by Gunter Grass, 1966).
Saberi died on 27 September 2023 in Tehran at the age of 82, due to old age.
