Minoo Abrishami (1946, Arak, Iran)
Minoo Abrishami is an Iranian film and television actress born in Arak.
She has appeared in films and series that includes Desiderium, My Uncle Napoleon, Tall Shadows of the Wind, and Hezar Dastan.
She starred in commercial films at first, but then entered cinema and television in 1973. Acting in the television series "My Uncle Napoleon" (by Nasser Taghvai) as Tahereh and "Hezar Dastan" (Ali Hatami) as Jeyran are among her most prominent performances.
Nasser Abrishmi, her husband, was her biggest supporter when it comes to entering the world of cinema. This artistic couple participated in the TV series "Train" directed by Fathali Oveisi, which was never shown.
After the 1979 revolution, she began acting in Lalezar theaters for a while and then in several television series and movies. Finally she left Iran for the United States of America.
Her last artistic appearance as an actress was a theater piece "Hole" written by Hamid Naderinejad and directed by Parviz Kardan in Los Angeles in 1988.
