Asadollah Ansari Yekta was born on December 15, 1947 in Tehran, Iran.
He is an actor, known for Ghesseye delha (1969), Shahr-e hert (1970), Haft delavar (1973), Kakadu (1995), Asphyxia | Khafegi (2017) and Axing | Darkoob (2018).
Asadollah Yekta is known as a short actor in Iranian cinema and has acted in more than 93 Iranian films.
Appreciation
He was honored in the first edition of the festival of critics in 2005, although he was unable to attend the ceremony due to illness.
Also, in 2009, he was honored at the "Yesterday's Children" celebration, honoring children and youth artists, where a statue of appreciation was presented to him by Davoud Rashidi.

Years ago, Yekta sold cigarettes in Haft-e Tir Square, in Tehran. After a long period of inactivity, he was again noticed by directors and played in several projects. He is currently under contract for some other projects. Along with his three sons Ahmed, Amir and Mohammad, he has opened Wooden Cafe in the lobby of Apadana Hotel located on Taleghani Street (Takht Jamshid).
