Farzad Motamen (August 10th, 1957, Tehran, Iran)
Farzad Motamen was born in Tehran 1957, began filmmaking with short documentaries.
His first serious experience in documentary filmmaking was titled Zahirug. From 1985 to 1990 he was director to the audio visual section of the Handicarfts Organization.
He made about 30 documantaries by 1998, and Finally in 1999 he directed his first short feature film in 35mm guage titled Three Accident.
The Seven Acts (2001) was his first full length feature film.
