Celebrated Iranian actress Taraneh Alidoosti was one of the pioneers in supporting the "woman life freedom" movement and one of the first female artists to remove her mandatory hijab.

This brave and freedom-loving artist was arrested by IRGC intelligence agents and was moved to Evin prison in December 2022.

According to our information sources, Alidoosti told her colleagues that she passed out during her interrogation by IRGC intelligence agents and then, realized that she was injected with an unknown ampoule, after which she felt dizzy. Some time after her release from prison, she started feeling unwell and dizzy, and with the severity of her illness, she has been hospitalized in Tehran's Kasra Hospital since October 2023.

After extensive investigations, the doctors have announced that the origin of her disease is unknown and she has a type of pseudo-cancer. Unconfirmed news, quoting an informed source, indicates that the substance that was injected into her is a kind of Russian poison that was provided by the Russian Intelligence Organization to the IRGC and has a gradual effect.

In recent years, dozens of political activists of different ages have contracted unknown illnesses or died suddenly after being released from prison.
