Amir Ghavidel (Marts 21st, 1947, Iran, Mashad)

Amir Ghavidel began his career years before 1979 Islamic Revolution as a screenwriter.

Then he tried his hand in directing through a segment of a TV series, but turned to big screen in the early 80s make a headful of first medest-scale films and later promising ones.

"Rokhsareh" is his tenth film as director. "Before I Make "Rokhsareh", I regarded "Delnamak" as my only favourite film, but now I believe that "Rokhsareh" (2002) is my movie of life," says he.
