Vahid Jalilvand (March 11, 1976, Teheran, Iran)
Vahid Jalilvand is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, actor, voice actor and film editor, television presenter, and radio personality.

A graduate of Theater Directing from Tehran University, he made his stage debut at the age of 15.

His first directed film, Wednesday, May 9 (2015) (Chaharshanbeh, 19 Ordibehesht), has received massive admiration from multiple national and international film festivals.

He received Fipersci Award in Best Film Horizons and International Critic's Week from 72nd Venice International Film Festival for this film.

In 1995, he began working in radio and made his TV debut with the series The Addiction Snare.

Jalilvand had further success with his next film No Date, No Signature (2017) (Bedoune Tarikh, Bedoune Emza). The film earned Jalilvand and his actor, Navid Mohammadzadeh, Orizzonti Awards of 74th Venice International Film Festival for best director and best actor, respectively.
