Mostafa Kiaei (1976, Tehran, Iran)
Mostafa Kiaei born 1976 in Tehran is an Iranian film director.
He started his artistic career in 1994, and since 1997, while studying filmmaking at the university, he worked as an assistant director in television and movie series.
After completing his studies in 2001, he continued working as a writer, director and editor in television programs and during this time he made many programs for various television channels.
In 2006, he sent a request for a license to make the film "A Very Dog Day Afternoon" (Baad Az Zohre Sagie Sagi, 2010), but he did not succeed in obtaining a production license from the Ministry of Education, and by changing the producer in 2008, he obtained a license to make it to the production of Jozan Films. Thus, he took his first feature film in front of the camera.
He uses his brother Mohsen Kiaei in most of his films as an actor. In 2018, Mostafa Kiaei directed his first tv series called Hamgonah, which was written by Mohsen Kiaei and Ali Koochaki.
