Yalda Jebelli, born 1980 in Tehran, Iran, is a director, writer and editor.
She is a graduate from the Faculty of Cinema and Theater. Yalda Jebelli began filmmaking by making telefilms such as "A Cup of Hot Tea" and "This Road Is Two-Way."
In 2019, she wrote and directed the movie "Jamshidia". The film begins with a horrific incident in which Taraneh and Amir a young couple, fight with a taxi driver in the street, and Taraneh hits the taxi driver with her mobile phone to defend Amir. After a day, they find out that the taxi driver has died and .. this incident causes hidden feelings in the presence of the female character in the film.
Yalda Jebelli, in an interview with "Borna News Agency" about the Scene designs of the court and prosecutor's office, said that she appeared in court more than 50 times to gain this ability and tried to conceive that there are always people in the courts who have stabbed or violated They have to change Mali and "Jamshidia" was built based on his personal experiences. Yalda Jebli explained the reason for the 4-year interval between the making of "Dareh Sobh Mishbeh" and "Jamshidieh" as follows: "Until we got the license to make the film, which unfortunately was not issued, it left me with a slump that I needed time to get motivated and get back on track." Among his works as an editor, we can name the serials "Emarat Farangi", "Constitutional Years", "Tabriz in May" and the film "Gospel to a Citizen of the Third Millennium".
