Kiarash Anvari (November 16, 1977, Tehran, Iran )
Kiarash Anvari was graduated from "Soureh" Institute of Higher Education in Tehran in 2000 and received his B.A in filmmaking from there.
He also received his master degree in cinema studies from University of Aix-Marseille I, in France,Aix-en-Provence, on 2006.
As a writer/director, He has made seven short films, which participated in some international short film festivals, such as Oberhausen Kurz film Tage in Germany, Kalamata Documentary film festival in Greece, Video Mundi Film Festival in United States and Potenza Film Festival in Italy.
His works have also been screened in different cultural centers in Europe, such as Witte de with, center for contemporary art in Rotterdam, Holland, Academy of Arts in Berlin, Germany and Musée des Beaux-Arts in Nantes, France.
He also has some experiences in stage performing and photography.
He is now living in both Iran and France and working as a short film and video maker.
