Habib Kavosh (November 7, 1944 - March 15, 2019) was an Iranian director, screenwriter and producer.
Flight in the Cage, Blood Season, Dadshah, Hidden Fire, and Hope are among the prominent films he directed.
Kavosh was born on November 7, 1944 in Tehran. He started his artistic activity in 1964 by becoming a member of the Anahita theater group and entered the film industry by directing the Water (Aab) in 1974.
In the early 2011, Kavosh was the spokesperson of the Drama Guild Council, and "Mahfele X" was the last film he made as a producer, screenwriter and director in 2010.
"Money-Bringing Winds (Badhaye Pool Avar)" was the title of the last screenplay that Habib Kavosh applied for a production license, but failed to produce it.
Habib Kavosh died on Friday evening, March 15, 2019 at the age of 74 due to cancer.
