Nader Saeivar (Born on 1975 in Tabriz) is an Iranian writer and director.

He started his career in 1992 with short films. He won the best screenplay award in Cannes 2018 for 3 Faces (2018) alongside Jafar Panahi.

He also has a master's degree from University of Tehran and is a teacher in the field of Cinema in various institutes and universities.

His film “Namo / The Alien” (2020) was shown at the Berlinale Forum.

His latest movie Shahed / The witness (2024) is selected to be screened in the Orizzonti Extra section of the 81st Venice International Film Festival.
