Fariborz Arabnia ( April 28, 1964, Teheran, Iran)
Fariborz Arabnia (born 28 April 1964 in Tehran) is an Iranian actor, philanthropist and director.
Fariborz Arabnia is an educated and professional Iranian artist.
He graduated in Graphic Design from Tehran University of Art, the biggest higher education center of arts in Iran.
He started his career along with his academic educationm ; his first major role was in ‘The Feast (Ziafat)’ by Massoud Kimiai in 1995.
Arabnia received his Mathematics Diploma in 1982 and passed a few courses in the Cinema Education Complex and the Center of Experimental Theater, where he experimented and directed many shows from 1988 to 1990, among them, Avazekhan-e Tas, Kaligola, and Dayere Ghachi Ghafghazi.
One of his notable performances was in ‘Soltan' in 1996 for which he was selected as the Best Male Leading Actor at the 15th Fajr International Film Festival.
He spent 6 years of his career acting in an epic historical TV Series named ‘Mokhtarnameh’ (2009) that has been a hit inside Iran and in Arab countries.
Arabnia has also appeared in a number of other feature films, including ‘Takhti, the World Champion’ (1997), ‘Toutia’ (1998), ‘Hemlock’ (1998), ‘Bitter Almonds’.
