Ahmad Mehranfar (born May 31, 1975, Kashan, Iran) is an Iranian actor.
Mehranfar has started performing professionally in theater since 1999 and has experienced playing with actors such as Parviz Perstoui, Panthea Bahram, Amir Jafari, Mahtab Nasirpour and Habib Rezaei.
His first appearane in Iranian cinema was with the movie Nan va Eshgh va Motor 1000" (Bread, Love and Motor 1000) and then "Climate", "The Lost Truth", "About Elly" (Darbareye Elly, (2009), "Cattle" and "Ceasefire" (Atash Bas, 2006) and theaters such as "All about Mr. F", "Fence", "Bitter Coffee", "Emoji" "Where were you on 17th of December?"
He has written and directed the play "Afghan Oedipus" which is the story about a woman who dreams three nights that her husband kills her, while her husband has not dreamed for 15 years. He realizes that his last dream, seen fifteen years ago, has a strange resemblance to woman's sleep ...
Ahmed Mehranfar has played in several TV series, including the series Paytakht (Capital). Most of his fame is for playing the role of Arastoo Amel in Paytakht.
