Pardis Afkari is an actress who was born on 26 Aril 1963 in Tehran, Iran.

Afkari began taking acting classes at the age of 16 while in high school. She studied acting and directing in university and commenced with her acting career in television upon graduation.

Afkari has appeared in a number of movies, including ‘Gozal’ (1989), ‘Bani Chaw’ (1995), ‘Retribution’ (2009), and ‘Receiver’ (2011).

She has also taken roles in a few television series, such as ‘The Green Ring’ (2007), ‘On the Way to Zayandeh Rood’ (2010), and ‘Five Kilometers from Heaven’ (2011).

Throughout her illustrious career, she collaborated with acclaimed directors in both cinema and theater, showcasing her talent in plays such as Susangerd and Ibn-e Sina, and movies like “The Girl by the Pond” and “Gozal.”

Known for her versatility, Afkari’s contributions extended to TV shows. Her theatrical prowess was evident in performances like “In the Strand of Zayandeh Rud.”

Pardis Afkari who suffered from cancer and was hospitalized, passed away on February 22, 2024.
