Mohammad Motevaselani (October 10, 1935, Tehran, Iran)
Mohammad Motevaselani was born in Tehran on 10 October 1935. He is a veteran Iranian actor, screenwriter, producer and director. Motevaselani has studied English Literature at Tehran University, and studied theater in the same period under the guidence of Belcher.
He, along with Sepehrnia and Garsha, two other veteran iranian actors, created the famous comedy team of Iranian Cinema in the sixties.
His first screen credit was in 1958 movie "Storm in Our Town," directed by Samuel Khachikian and "The Sinners" (2012, Faramarz Gharibian) is the last film he starred.
In 1989 he received an Honorary diploma at the Eighth International Fajr Film Festival for the screenplay "Jostejoogar", and was nominated for Best Director for the same film.
