Houshang Beheshti _{(1923 – 1991)}

Houshang Beheshti (born 1923 in Talesh, Gilan Province), was an Iranian film, television and theater actor, whose main activity was to dubb Iranian and foreign films in the 1950s.

He earned a bachelor's degree in film and theatre studies from Tehran's "Dramatic Arts College" in 1971 and was also a graduate from "Tehran Acting Academy" (1941).

He experienced acting on stage as a theater actor in 1944 and acting in radio programs in 1951.

His cinematic experience began in 1971 with Fighting with Evil (Mobarezeh Ba Sheitan), a film directed by "Hossein Madani".

During his career, Beheshti acted in more than fifty films. His last appearance was in This House is Far, a tv series in which he unfortunately died while acting.

He had also worked as a dubbing artist in the early years of establishing this profession in Iran.
