Kourosh Tahami is an Iranian actor born in Tehran in 1971. He received his BA in Theater from the Islamic Azad University.
His first appearance in a movie was in 1998 at the age of 25 when he acted in "Cinema Is Cinema", then in 2006, he starred in “The Magic Generation” directed by Iraj Karimi.
He has been nominated for the Crystal Simorgh for Best Supporting Actor for “The Color Purple” by Ebrahim HatamiKia from Fajr Film Festival.
Tahami has appeared in series such as ‘Saint Mary’ (2000), 'Lighter Than Darkness' (1999-2002), 'Love's Homework' (2003-2004), ‘Under the Blade’ (2006), 'The Weary-Hearted' (2009), 'Shams-ol-Emareh' (2009), 'Hereafter' (2010), ‘Heart of Ice’ (2010), 'Tabriz in Fog' (2010), and 'Autumn Evening' (2013).
