Despite all the troubles she meets as a lonely girl in a corrupted circle after her grandmother's death, Taraneh is determined to keep her baby and lead a simple, innocent life….
After shooting THE GIRL IN THE SNEAKERS, I began thinking of the plot of I'M TARANEH, 15; but for two years, I didn't take the subject seriously.
I was looking for another story that would satisfy me far more. But that was not to happen and I understood gradually that the main element which makes a film inventive or attractive lies in the filmmaker's interpretation of the subject rather than the dramatic twists and complications of the script. I'M TARANEH, 15 is my most satisfying work.
