The blue Veiled | Rusari Abi (1995)

Synopsis

Rasul Rahmani, in his sixties, is the owner of a tomato factory. Widowed for nine years, Rahmani is devoted to his work and aims to please the workers of the tomato factory.

On a holiday, the foreman of the factory offers meat to all the workers, and at the suggestion of his boss Rahmani, he distributes more meat to married women than to other workers.

Unmarried but dependent on three people, Ashgar protests this injustice and rejects the gift. When Rahmani finds out about the situation, he decides to solve the problem by personally presenting a gift to Ashgar.

Thus, Rahmani personally witnesses the poverty of Ashgar. Rahmani offers Ashgar's sister, Nobar Kordai, to work for him to alleviate his condition.

Over time, Rahmani falls in love with Nobar Kordai and rumors spread quickly. As his entire family opposes the love for this poor girl, the old man will have to make one final decision.
