Venezia 79 Competition 'Beyond The Wall'(Shab, Dakheli, Divar) Not Coordinated with the Iranian Cinema Organization

Beyond the Wall will have its world premiere at the 79th Venice International Film Festival in September 2022.
The Iranian Cinema organization has announced that 'Beyond The Wall's participation in competition section of the 79th Venice Film Festival (31 August - 10 September) is not coordinated with this organization
The movie follows the story of a blind man Ali (Navid Mohammadzadeh) whose peaceful world is affected by the ill-timed entry of a woman into his life. A man whose building concierge stops him from committing suicide and informs him that a fugitive woman is hiding in the building. The blind man's goal is now to help the woman.
"Shab, Dakheli, Divar" produced by Ali Jalilvand, is the third film of his brother Vahid Jalilvand at the Venice Film Festival and his first experience in the main competition section of this important film event.
His first film "Wednesday, May 9" (with Niki Karimi) was screened in the Horizon section in 2015, and his next film "No Date, No Signature" was also present in the same section, which won the award for best director and best actor (Mohammedzadeh). It was then chosen as Iran's submission to the 91st Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film held in 2019.
