Amir Hossein Saghafi (1986, Iran)
Amir Hossein Saghafi was born in 1986. Since his childhood, on account of his father who is a producer and director, he’s been involved in film productions.
He was the main actor of “The Bag” and “John” in 1993 and 1995, respectively. At the same time he was a professional sportsman until he became a national champion of boxing at the age of 20.
His passion for cinema pushed him to leave sports for cinema and become an assistant director to many directors.
He made his first doc-fiction “Winston” (45min) in 2008. “Death is My Profession” is his first feature film.
