Fereydun Gole (1940, Teheran, Iran - 2005, Salman shahr, Mazandaran, Iran )
Goleh was an active director in Iran before the Islamic Revolution. His credits include "Dagger", "Under the Skin of the Night", "Heathen", "Hive", and "Honeymoon".
He is most famous among his fellow directors for his film "Hive", but after the revolution he never got the opportunity to make another film and left Tehran to live in his villa in Salmanshahr.
It is said that some of the screenplays which he had previously written were later revised and made into films after the revolution.
