Parviz Shahinkhou (September 24, 1915 - August 6, 2016)
Parviz Shahinkhou (born on September 24, 1915 in Tehran - died on August 6, 2016) was an Iranian theater, cinema and television actor.
He started acting in Khairkhah theater group in 1933, and in 1935, he participated in Ovanes Ohanian's cinematography class, which made him capable of acting in two films "Abi and Rabi" and "Haji Agha Actor Cinema".
In 1938 Shahinkhou entered the acting academy and after receiving his diploma in 1939, he started performing various roles in "Nasr and Dehghan" theater.
At the same time, he was an inspector in the State Smuggling Inspection Department in 1934 and became a bank employee in 1937.
Playing eight different roles in Sarbedaran series and Roozi Roozegari series, Tofange Sarpor, Imam Ali, Velayat Eshgh, Mirza Kochch Khan Jangali and some other historical series were ShahinKhou's works.
He also co-starred in Bab'Aziz (2002), a movie directed by Mohammad Nasser Khamer, with Golshifteh Farahani and Hossein Panahi.
His last television activity was playing a role in the series Roozgar-e Gharib (Kianoush Ayari - 2006) and his last film work was Sad Saal Be In Salha (Miss Iran) by Saman Moghadam, 2006.
He died on Saturday, August 6, 2016 after a period of illness due to lung problems. He was 100 years old when he died.
