Sarbedaran is a historic series based on the revolt of the Sarbedars of Khorasan, led by Sheykh Hasan Jowri against the Mongol Conquest of Iran.
Sarbadaran is an Iranian television series directed by Mohammad Ali Najafi. Kayhan Rahgzar was the series' writer and director consultant.
The filming of this TV series started in September 1981 in the historical Grand Mosque of Ardestan city and continued until November 24, 1983. Farrokh Majidi and Mohammad Zarfam were the film's directors of photography. Sarbadaran was broadcast every Monday on the First Channel after the 20:30 news.
