Khosro Khosroshahi (December 28, 1941, Tehran, Iran)
Khosro Khosroshahi (born on December 28, 1941 in Tehran) is an Iranian dubbing artist and dubbing manager.
He is known for dubbing for Dustin Hoffman, Robert De Niro and Amitabh Bachchan and many more. He was also the first dubbing voice actor of Alain Delon and Al Pacino in their early days.
In 1962, he entered the dubbing profession under the guidance of Ahmad Rasulzadeh.
His wife, Mansoureh Katebi, also works as a voice over actor. Cinemagoers' memory of watching most of the movies in which Alain Delon, Amitabh Bachchan, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman and Robert De Niro was present, is inseparably associated with the voice of Khosroshahi.
His voice was also heard in Iranian films before the 1979 revolution, as for Farzan Deljoo, and in the cinema after the revolution, for Iranian actors such as Bijan Emkanian, Abolfazl Pourarab, Jahangir Almasi, Parviz Pourhosseini, etc.
On January 29, 2019, at the opening ceremony of the 37th Fajr Film Festival, a ceremony was held to honor Khosrow Khosroshahi.
