Mahaya Petrosian (born 3 January 1970 in Tehran) is an Iranian actress of Armenian descent.

She is also a director, A Beautiful Snowy Day being her first movie as director.

She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Tehran University, majoring in theater.

She made her acting debut in the cinema by appearing in the movie "Love and Death" directed by Mohammad Reza Daalami.

Petrosian got her fame in Iranian cinema by acting in "The Last Act", "What's up?", "Unforgiven" and "Help Me".

She won a Crystal Simorgh for the best supporting actress for "The Last Act".
