Taji Ahmadi (born 1936 in Tehran - died 1988 in Paris) was an Iranian dubbing artist and actress.

Taji Ahmadi is known for Brick and Mirror (1965), Bijan va Manijeh (1958) and Panjeh (1963).

Born Tajol-Molouk in 1936, (Taji) Ahmadi completed her secondary education (diploma). She, who was working in a hospital as a nurse at first, auditioned for a role in a movie in 1954 by one of the cameramen and was accepted.

She was invited to do voice overs in 1956 and started to work as a dubbing actor while playing in the movie "Marjan" .

In 1957, she was invited to Ferdowsi Theater by Hamid Ghanbari to act in "Blue Bird" a play by Morris Metterling, and after that she appeared in other plays such as "Chocolate Girl", "Dangerous Turn", "Gas Light", "Black and White", "Penalties", "Horrible Parents", and... played roles.

Taji Ahmadi started her collaboration with Iranian radio in 1957 by participating in radio shows and for the first time she used her voice as a speaker in one of the "Night Stories" which was adapted from the opera Aida and its name was "Flower Tree" and after that appeared in other radio dramas including "Workers", "Woman and Life", "Johnny Dollar", etc. Also, she was an announcer in the radio programs "Seir o Safar", "Shoma va Radio", "Begooeed va Beshnaveed", and...

Her most important cinematic appearance was in the movie "Brick and Mirror" (1965) directed by Ebrahim Golestan, in which she played the role of a woman with the same name (Taji) against Zakaria Hashemi.

In the golden age of dubbing, with a slightly hoarse voice that seemed somewhat immature and vulnerable, she often voiced young, vivacious girls, best of whom were Natalie Wood and Jane Fonda.

Together with Shahrooz Ramtin, she starred in the TV series "The Stranger" produced by her husband Mohammad Ali Zarandi (Mohammed Ali Zarandifar) from 1974, and was also present in the comic scenes of the TV show "Panjareha".

As a TV host, she interviewed Shapour Bakhtiar in a program. After the 1979 revolution, Taji migrated abroad with her husband and two sons.

At the end of her life, Taji suffered from severe depression and memory impairment due to the death of his son. She died in Paris in 1988 due to cancer.
