Synopsis
The young journalist Ulrik Torp becomes a witness to a ruthless power struggle in the Centre Party after the party's charismatic leader is seriously injured in a car accident.
It all breaks loose in lies and media speculation with great human cost. Ulrik is now on the trail of a cynical conspiracy involving the country's next prime minister, and he becomes obsessed with finding the truth.
But nobody will listen to him, neither politicians nor journalist colleagues, and while the election day draws near, Ulrik stands alone in the struggle against the center of power.
