Musa is about to be married when he receives a letter reminding him of an earlier promise.
As the sole surviving soldier of an Iraqi attack on a watch-tower on Minoo Island, he is required to return to Minoo Island and dismantle the watch-tower, where his good friend and future brother-in-low, Mansoor, was martyred.
Musa and his wife, Minoo, go to the gulf town of Abadan which overlooks the island. There he recounts his memories of Mansoor during the war, and the fateful day of his martyrdom.
