Synopsis
A fun, educational and entertaining puppet show for children of all ages. Kolah Ghermezi (meaning "The Red Hat") is an Iranian fictional puppet character in different TV series and movies.
Iraj Tahmasb and Hamid Jebelli created the character. The original TV series was a puppet show named Post Box for kids broadcast in early 90's in Iran.
Kolah Ghermezi was supposed to be a guest puppet in a kid show, Post Box, in the early 90's in Iran. He was designed as a shoe-maker's aide.
He spoke so fast and indistinguishably. Iraj Tahmasb (one of the creators of the show) who played the host of the show, Mr. Presenter tries to correct his mistakes both verbally and his behavior.
He is an 8 years old boy who goes to school. Kolah Ghermezi lives in a floating timeline, which means he doesn't age. He talks so fast in the original version, but gradually by Mr. Presenter's corrections he learns to talk correctly.
Kolah Ghermezi wears a red hat (in which his name comes from) and a blue shirt and green pants. He has got different eye colors, one blue and the other one is green.
He has two relatives in the shows and films. The first one is Pesar Khaleh, literally The Cousin (his mother's sister's son) and Pesar Ammeh Za, meaning Cousin Za (his father's sister's son).
