Victoria Nersesian (or Nerssisian) was an Iranian actress, born in Rostov, Russia, in 1937.
Victoria is known for Sarsam (1965), Ghorboone khodam (1963) and Ashge yatim (1965). Kamingah-e Sheitan (1964), Soltan-e Ghalbha (1968) and Leyli and Majnoon (1970 ) are among her other notable films.
She emigrated to Iran with her family when she was 14 years old. After emigrating, Nersesian entered the world of acting. In 1962, this Armenian actress played her first role in Death Traders by Nasser Malek Motiee.
She starred in many films in the 1960s and was one of the most prolific actresses of the decade. One of her most significant performances was when she played with the very famous pre-revolutionary Iranian actor, Mohammad Ali Fardin, in Soltan-e Ghalbha.
After appearing in her last film Do Kabootar (1973), Victoria retired from acting and did not appear in any other films. The actress lived in the north of the country before the 1979 revolution. She did not leave the country after the revolution and continued to live in northern Iran.
Victoria died on June 6, 2016 due to illness in the north of Iran, but was buried in Tehran.
