Aram (1953, Teheran, Iran)+
Azam Mirhosseini with the stage name Aram (born 1953 in Tehran) is an Iranian film actress.
She began her artistic career in Iranian cinema industry starring in Gorg-e bizar and then in the film Aghaye jahel. Her breakthrough as an actress comes with her role as Behjat in 1978 film Hokm-e tir.
She enters the cinema under the stage name Aram, after a meeting with Maziar Partow, and appears in her first film Gorg-e Bizar where she co-starrs with Behrouz Vossoughi.
Aghaye jahel was her second film, in which she starred alongside Homayoun. She acted against Behzad Javanbakhsh In Death in the Rain, a film directed by Samuel Khachikian.
After the death in the rain, she signed a contract with Davoud Roustaei project called Ghobar neshinha (1978). It was a social film that depicted the relations between neighbors of a residential apartment. While she still was acting in this film, Khosrow Parvizi invited her to act in his "Khoshgela Avazi Gereftin" (1974), in which she co-starred with Sepideh and Changiz Vossoughi. Aram, who was then at the height of her fame, accepted all the offers. Khoshgela Avazi Gereftin was a weak movie and its sales were only because of Aram and Sepideh's presence.
At the insistence of Amir Shervan, Aram immediately accepted to play in Torkaman (1974). After that, she appeared in the role of Lili, a rich girl, in Dariush Koushan's Bezan berim dozdi co-starring with Aref Arefkia.
Aram acted in Abarmard (1974) written and directed by Davoud Esmaili. Here she appeared as Fakhri, a female dancer who helps the main character of the film. Later in 1976, she starred in Neyzar by Mahmoud Koushan, where she played an ordinary role alongside Beyk Imanvardi.
Aram's first experience of playing against Manouchehr Vossough was in Ranande-ye ejbari (1975). After that, Aram and Behrouz Vossoughi starred together for the second time, this time in Zabih a film by Mohammad Motevasselani where she appeares as a mother who did not want her doughter to know who her father was.
After Zabih, in the movie Defa' az namoos (1975) by Mohammad Karim Rokni, in which she played a seduced village girl named Asiyeh, who goes to Tehran and feels more displaced and finally goes mad and kills the bad guy of the story.
After that, she had an unsuccessful appearance in Saeed Motalebi's "Palang Dar Shab" and then she co-starrs Iren, Homayoun and Masoud Asadollahi in latter's "Baba Khaldar". She was then chosen by Ahmed Najibzadeh to play the role of Pari in Aloodeh (1975).
In Vali-nemat (1977) she plays the role of an ignorant and mischievous girl who regrets at the end of the movie. Then she played the role of a gypsy dancer in the movie Monster, which was similar to the story of Hunchback of Notre Dame, directed by Siamak Yasmi. Beik Imanordi played the role of the ugly hunchback in this movie. After the monster, Aram fought against the enemy in the movie Shir Hifte by Mahmoud Kushan, playing the role of a fighting girl along with men secretly and at night. After that, once again, the actors of the film "Tainted" namely Manouchehr and Thauq, Yadaleh Shirandami, Aram and Jalal co-starred in a movie called "Tanihi" by Esmail Poursaid.
