Parviz Kardan (born in Shiraz in 1937) graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts of Tehran University and television director from UK .
His artistic career began with TV shows in 1959 and continued with playing in the theater scene.
His first screen credit was in 1971 with directing and playing in the movie Amu Yadegar.
Parviz Kardan began his activities as director and actor in iranian television shows at channal three in 1959.
His first TV experience was "Sarkar Ostvar", an old comic series of national iranian TV. Most of the parts of this series Kardan was written and directed by Kardan himself and was shown once a week for people who watched it eagerly and in summer time they watched it again ...
The deceased Abdolali Homayun played the leading role of Sarkar Ostvar. A rural police officer from an unknown part of the country was good at catching the criminals by using some intelligent methods he called "Sarkar Ostvarian politics".
Many characters created in this TV series later became a movie and television subject itself.
The most famous type was Samad Agha played by Parviz Sayyad and Karamali Khan and Morad Barghi played by Kardan himself.
Then he makes "Khaneh be Doush" a tv series based on Morad Barghi, a character from "Sarkar Ostvar" that became very popular amomg people in those years...
