Mory Wants a Wife | Mory zan mikhad (2013)
Synopsis
A semi-documentary about Mory, a religious man without a wife. His work does not pay enough to find an apartment of his own. That’s why his first two wives left him. But Morteza is only human.
His yearning gets in the way so much that, in conflict with his faith, he sees no other alternative than self-gratification. So: Mory wants a wife. A comic look at a side of Iranian society not often seen. --IFFR

Critics views
Critic and screenwriter Lee Yong-cheol considers this film an urban version of Abbas Kiarostami's "Through the Olive Trees", although he finds it lacking the happy and warm ending of that film.
About the sensitive content of this film, Abtin says that "Sexual problems form an important part of society's problems, and in this regard I wanted to show the problems of a part of society."
