The film focuses on an older woman in Tehran. During afternoon tea, she decides to live out her desires in a country where women's rights are severely restricted.
The film's premiere will take place in February 2024 as part of the Berlin International Film Festival. There the entry was included in the main competition.

My Favorite Cake (original title: Keyke mahboobe man) is a 2024 feature film directed by Maryam Moghaddam and Behtash Sanaeeha. The plot focuses on an aging woman who dares to live her desires against society's expectations.
Lily Farhadpourplayed the lead role. The international co-production between Iran, France, Sweden and Germany will premiere in February 2024 as part of the 74th Berlinale.

For My Favorite Cake, Moghaddam and Sanaeeha received their second invitation to compete for the Golden Bear, the Berlinale's main prize.
