Ebrahim Sheibani (October 18, 1980 Tehran, Iran)
Ebrahim Sheibani was born in 1980 in Tehran, Ebrahim Sheibani Studied film direction and received his Master degree from cinema & theater School of Tehran Art university.
In 1997 he began filmmaking career as first assistant director and production assistant for distinguished Iranian directors like Darioush Mehrjui, Bahram Beizai, Naser Taghvai and Rakhshan Bani-Etemad among others.
He directed his first and only short film "Dark rising" in 2001 which was screened at Cannes film festival.
As the youngest feature film director (20 years old at the time) in the Iranian filmmaking industry, he directed his first film "Honey Bane" which became a blockbuster in 2002.
He went on to direct his second feature film "Crime scene, No entry" in 2007 which was nominated for the best direction at Fajr film Festival (The most prestigious film festival in Iran). "Nowhere, Nobody", his third feature was released in 2011 to largely positive reception from critics and audiences alike.
In addition to making films in the cinema, He has been making TV series during the past few years and has been extremely active in films.His last feature film "Golden Blood" has been recently prepared for screening. - IMDb
