Sattar Oraki, (born 5 May 1969 in Ahvaz) is an Iranian Composer.

He has scored Academy Award-winning movies such as A Separation and The Salesman.

Oraki is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Oraki has collaborated with singers such as Alireza Ghorbani, Mohammad Esfahani, Salar Aghili, Mohammad Motamedi, Reza Yazdani, Hamidreza Hami and Nima Masiha.

"A person who only creates a melody is not called a composer! A composer must know well the composition of the melody, the combination of poetry and music, and the rhythm and rhyme of the poem, and know what kind of singer he is going to work for."
