Cyrus Ebrahimzadeh (1937, Ardabil, Iran)
Cyrus Ebrahimzadeh (born 1937 in Ardabil) is an Iranian writer and cinema, television and theatre actor.
He has a master's degree in theater from England. After finishing his preliminary studies in English language and literature from Tehran University, he went to England to study theater. And at the same time, he graduated from Birmingham University in music.
Cyrus Ebrahimzadeh started acting at the age of 18 in 1955 with Mostafa Eskouei in Anahita Theater, which is now Golriz Cinema. Later, he came to the main theater of the city and participated in a play by Davoud Rashidi called "Victory in Chicago".
In 1967 he performed for the first time in Iranian television and radio programs. Ebrahimzadeh started his cinematic career with Ali Hatami's "Hasan Kachal" in 1970. Until the year of the revolution in 1979, he had acted in 4 movies and one tv series.
Ebrahimzadeh continued his collaboration with Hatami by playing in "Sattar Khan" and then in "Kamal-ol-Molk". After that, he worked with directors such as Saman Moghadam and Mohammad Reza Honarmand.
In 1985, he re-entered the world of Radio and Television with the series Neighbor's Shadow which brought him fame and popularity
In September 2016, Ebrahimzadeh was honored in a ceremony at the 19th Iranian Cinema Festival in Eivane Shams Hall.
