Fereshteh Jenabi (1948 – May 25, 1998)
Fereshteh Jenabi Namin (born 1948 – May 25, 1998) was an Iranian actress mostly active before the Iranian revolution from 1971 until 1979.
Janabi was a beautiful and carefree Iranian actress, who was banned from acting after the revolution.
She entered the Iranian cinema with the film "Zane Yekshabeh". She was noticed by filmmakers and appeared in many films in a short period of time. She co-starred with Ezzatollah Entezami in Resurrection of Love (Ghiamat-e Eshgh, 1973).
It is said that the special islamic court that dealt with matters related to artists, secretly issued a death sentence to her because of the film "Speeding naked till high noon". This sentence was not executed because she went into hiding.
She died on May 25, 1998 at the age of fifty in isolation in Tehran due to a heart attack.
