Fereshteh Sadre Orafaee (December 29, 1962, Tehran, Iran)
Fereshteh Sadre Orafaee (born 29 December 1962) is an Iranian actress, voice actress and puppeteer.
She is best known internationally for her role as Pari in The Circle (2000), which has won several awards including the Golden Lion at the 57th Venice International Film Festival, and for Shabi Ke Mah Kamel Shod (2019), Café Transit (2005).
Sadre Orafaee has won Best Actress award at the 23rd Fajr Film Festival for her performance in Café Transit (2005) and Best Supporting Actress award at the 37th Fajr Film Festival for her performance in When the Moon Was Full (2019).
Sadre Orafaee started her artistic career in 1973 by attending the theater and puppet theater classes of the Center for the Development of Children and Adolescents.
Her career in cinema began in 1983 when she appeared in the TV show "Big Forest Storm Tiger" and since then in 18 TV series and movies as an announcer and puppeteer.
Sadre Orafaee has acted in many films. She has also tried her hand at directing, and has made 4 TV series named "Li Li Hozak", "Gorbe Jaleh and Aghapesar", "Eid Omad Bahar Omad" and "Sky Police".
She was previously married to Iranian screenwriter and director Kambuzia Partovi.
