Seyyed Hassan Raziani (1931 – August 28, 2014)
Seyyed Hassan Raziani (born 1931 in Mashhad – died 28 August 2014 in Tehran) was an Iranian theater, film and tv actor.
He is best known for playing Einollah Bagherzadeh in the Samad film series directed by Parviz Sayyad.
Raziani's last appearance was in the series Amarat Farangi and Pedarkhandeh directed by Mohammad Reza Varzi.
He was born in Mashhad in 1931. He attended high school there and graduated from the Tehran Higher Conservatory with a degree in theater and rhetoric.
According to himself, he began acting in theater at the age of ten and collaborated on the radio comedy program "Shoma va the Radio" between 1952 and 1955. He made his film debut in 1955 with a role in Fereshteh Vahshi.
Hassan Raziani taught rhetoric and theater at the Girls' High School for several years. He gained great popularity for playing the role of Einollah Bagherzadeh in the Samad series.
Hassan Raziani suffered from Alzheimer's disease during the last two years of his life. He had been hospitalized in the ICU of Tehran-Pars Hospital since June 20, 2014, due to a lung infection, and finally died on Thursday morning, August 28, 2014, after 70 days of hospitalization due to cardiac arrest at the age of 83.
