Parvaneh Massoumi (March 2, 1945 - November 27, 2023)
Parvaneh Massoumi (Sakineh Kabudarahangi born 1944 in Tehran) is an iranian film and television actress.
Massoumi has completed her studies at the National University's School of Foreign Languages.
In 1971 she played her first cinematic role in Beizai's short film "The Journey", and then she starred in films such as Bita, Shahre Ghesseh, Stranger and The Fog, The Raven, Golhaye Davoudi, Captain Khorshid, Tooba, Kharej az Mahdoodeh, Jahizieh baraye Robab, Tohfeh-ha, Once Upon a Time Cinema, and Mosafer-e Shahre Ray.
Massoumi's artistic career also covers playing in such TV series as Imam Ali, Yousef The Prophet, Malakout and The Hidden mystery.
On 12 July 2010 at a mass meeting where the casts and credits of iranian national TV series paid a visit to Iran's leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, she was one of the speakers and said: "I know if people see me somewhere tomorrow they will look at me differently, because I was here with you, because I too breathed for a half hour, an hour, under the same roof as you did."
